Words that caught my eye
Driving home last night the car in front of me had a bumper sticker that said "Change is inevitable; Growth is optional." I wish these words were mine. I am tempted to hang them on my office door. There are many changes happening at my work and many decisions about the future to be made. Unfortunately I am not outstanding at getting people to stop looking back and pining for "how things were" or "how things should be" and getting them focused on "how things are" and "how things might be" so that we could plan how to get where we’d like to be.

There is a half mile stretch of road near my house where at least 4 new mega churches with big electronic billboards flashing a new message each day or week. Although I have never been in one or even watched a service on TV, I imagine that they are like the those described by Robert H. Heinlein in his novel Number of the Beast. One of these churches often has messages from "god" listed. Yesterday’s message was, "My way is the highway. -god" I laughed all the way home.
“Change is inevitable; Growth is optional.”
I love it. Need blog it down myself as well. 🙂
Glad you enjoyed it as much as I did. Thanks for visiting my blog these last few days.
