This is a shout out to my coaches
My guide through my level 2 precision nutrition certification was Kate Solovieva real name Ekaterina, who often goes by just SOLO. She is fierce and mighty, but also kind, sort of. My personal impression was of this crazy mix of tough love and marshmallow?! She hugs. A lot. Apparently. I haven’t met her in person but I hope to one day. She will call out your B.S. and help you every step of the way. She is now taking clients. If you want to experience the magic, check her out.
I spent two years as a precision nutrition client, with 1.5 years with Jen Cooper as my coach. She made me feel safe and gave me guardrails to explore what worked for me, and ideas for how to figure it out (for myself, and my clients). Her husband apparently has the same mojo for runners. And Jen nudged and incentivized me to pursue my own coaching path to help others on their own journeys. Amazing.
At the end of the day it’s finding the right fit. I do my first 30 days free, since I believe in the programming but I might not be the best person to deliver it for you.
What do you need? Who is helping you make your dreams real?
What is the difference between a level 1 and level 2 certification?
Hi Nancy – Level 1 is more like a graduate level course with a text book, and “exams” on each chapter of the book. Level 2 is mostly case studies (and a few quizzes) where you write up a strategy for a client with specific needs and your rationale for your recommendations. So Level 2 is much more hands on, and requires a lot more reading, writing, and critical thinking. You have to be Level 1 certified to take Level 2. In PN’s words: https://www.precisionnutrition.com/precision-nutrition-level-2-certification-faq Both are fantastic in my opinion.
