Let it Snow!
I have my alarm set to a local radio station. The weather report was on as the alarm went off. "The good news is the winter storm warning has been canceled. The bad news is it is now a Blizzard warning." We are expecting 10 to 20 inches today.
From the official local blizzard warning:
IN THE FRONT RANGE MOUNTAINS AND FOOTHILLS…WINDS WILL NOT BE AS STRONG…BUT SNOWFALL WILL BE VERY HEAVY WITH SOME LOCATIONS SEEING AS MUCH AS 3 FEET OF SNOW BEFORE THE STORM MOVES OUT THURSDAY MORNING. TRAVEL WILL BECOME EXTREMELY HAZARDOUS IF NOT IMPOSSIBLE LATER THIS MORNING AND AFTERNOON. TRAVEL IS SIMPLY NOT RECOMMENDED THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING.
Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow! (enjoy a clip of the song)
I sent out an email encouraging my employees to be safe today & to not come in unless absolutely necessary.
Given the weather, I want to follow up on Irene’s 5 favorite holiday songs.
I love classics:
1) The Christmas Song – I especially like the one on Bing Crosby’s White Christmas Album
2) I’ll be home for Christmas – same album
3) White Christmas – same album
4) The entire Kenny G MiraclesCD (all instrumental)
5) Handel’s Halleluah Chorus such as found here.
