Day 3: Sydney
Quiet day today. I thankfully planned nothing. It was hot and crazy windy, and yesterday was long.
I slept 10 hours, hit the hotel gym, and went out to explore. I wanted to scope out where I’d be dining tomorrow, and just explore some more. It was Veteran’s day today in the US. There were similar displays here in Sydney.
I enjoyed lunch at the Sea Rock Grill where a bold Seagull stole some of my Salmon.
I ventured back to the Royal Botanical Gardens to find some shade. This is a fabulous public space. After a few hours, I stopped at a local grocery to buy some laundry detergent, and groceries for a few more days. I found these.
So these are not Trifecta Nutrition, which I’ve been wanting to try for years, but they seem to be a close substitute, no delivery required, and while not organic, the ingredients are mostly locally sourced with free range ingredients.
I spent some time clearing my work email inbox. Now it’s time for my own private Australian Shiraz tasting experience. I started the bottle of the Taylar Shiraz on Day 1. Today I am tasting the Hungerford Hill Shiraz (one of the few vintages we didn’t try at the tasting yesterday). It will be an early night.
